Who is responsible

Fahim Al Jadid is the data controller for PairReveal.

What we collect

• Your answers, and any note you choose to add to a question.
• A display name you type — a first name or nickname. We do not verify it and it does not need to be your real name.
• Optionally, an email address, only if you ask us to remind your partner. We do not need it to play.
• Usage events — which pages were viewed and which step of the quiz was reached. These never contain your answers or any text you typed.

We do not ask for your address, date of birth, or payment details. Payment details go directly to Paddle.com and never reach us.

Why we are allowed to hold it

• Your explicit consent, for your answers. You give it before the first question, separately from accepting the terms — not bundled into them.
• Performance of a contract, to deliver a report you paid for.
• Legitimate interests, for aggregate statistics and keeping the service working — using data that cannot identify you.

You can withdraw consent at any time by asking us to delete your quiz.

Who else sees it

• Your partner — but only the answers you both agreed on, plus a note only where you both agreed. This is the core of the product and is described on how it works.
• Paddle.com — merchant of record for purchases. They receive your payment details and the order description; they do not receive your answers.
• Our hosting and email providers, acting only on our instructions.

We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to build a profile of you for advertising.

Aggregate statistics

We publish statistics about how people answer — for example the share of respondents who chose a given option. These are computed across large numbers of people and are never traceable to an individual. Nothing is published below a minimum sample size.

How long we keep it

Quiz data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised on a schedule. See security and data for the current retention period and how deletion is carried out.

Your rights

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, and port your data, and to complain to your national supervisory authority. To exercise any of these, contact us with your quiz link — it is the only way we can identify your data, because there are no accounts.

Sensitive data

Some answers concern your relationship and private life. We treat all quiz answers as sensitive regardless of category: they are encrypted at rest, excluded from analytics, never written to logs, and never included in a shareable link or image.
